As the year draws to an end, it’s nice to look back at what’s been achieved – but it’s even better to look forward because up next on No Dough is a medley of housey techno from Riccardo Rizza, also known as Ricky Rich.   An Italian prospect who is eager and ready to get his music heard.

This debut release delivers two original cuts of both very different vibes, although surprisingly complementary to one another.  ‘M & S’ floats along graciously all the way through.  Solid, sincere and very catchy, each sound takes you through a complex sonic landscape, effortlessly giving balance between melody, tone and rhythm.  Striking out at the sea of percussive tech house this track compares to little else, in itself it’s certainly much more down beat compared to Towie’s pumpin remix which dives straight in at the deep end, and doesn’t even hold its nose...no messing here, could this be a new direction from the ever evolving and fresh No Dough frontman?

‘Sax in Holiday’ is a funky and energetic track that grooves from start to finish.  Simple in structure and carving a faithful house vibe, this track stinks of the good times, remember when your friends last talked you into "one more dance"....yes this is that tune, a little bit of summer at the start of winter.  Not to say this track isn’t without its more complex charms, a distinct jazz air can be felt throughout, contradictions are often the best way to describe music.

To finish an already heavy EP from No Dough we have the Argentinean heavy weight Santos Resiak.  Here at No Dough we have been a fan of Santos on Immigrant Records and Gluckskind Sahallplatten.  His unique sound’s evident playability have seen him travel the world, and today he delivers a cooler deep house version, changes and twists and a bassline which will have you dancing barefoot.
