James Ruskin’s Blueprint news

James Ruskin’s Blueprint label continues to celebrate its re-birth as the label launches a brand new EP from main man, Ruskin himself.  The Sabre EP contains two tracks displaying why Ruskin is revered as one of techno’s most forward thinking DJ/producers. The lead track ‘Sabre’ rattles and hums in the experimental dark, zoning in and out of focus through a dark, atmospheric haze whilst ‘Massk’ takes a more straightforward kick but once again drags it into the shadows. Although less abrasive than earlier Blueprint releases both 'Sabre' and 'Massk' remain deeply connected and retain the energy and ideology that Blueprint became famous for in the late 1990's, proving it's relevance as much today as it did then.

Ruskin has been using both tracks in his live and DJ sets for several months now and their effect has been instant, placing the importance on a measured groove and a level of production that envelopes the listener.

With more O/V/R and Ruskin material being road tested now, and several new artists joining the Blueprint roster for the first time since it's inception the future looks secure for one of Techno's iconic labels. Released on 26th June it follows in the footsteps of some classic Blueprint catalogue which now finally is available to buy digitally.

You can also catch Ruskin DJing during this years Sonar festival at Nitsa Club alongside Rob Hood, Ben Klock and Detroit Grand Pubahs as they celebrate the re-launch of Blueprint and M-Plant.
